Meet the New Design Team

Good Evening Crafters

Today I have pleasure in announcing the new design team for Imagination Crafts Challenge Blog.  Thank you to all of those who applied we had a good response and it sure was a tough decision to make.  So without further ado here is the new design team.

Kath (Mucky Paws)

Hey Peeps, Kath here with a bit of an introduction, I'm 44 and live in Bolton, Lancs.
I'm an avid crafter with interests in many different types of crafts
but I do love getting 'mucky paw's with paint, inks and stamps, etc.
I'm also a freelance designer of blogs/papers/digital products/ craft products etc......but believe it or not I'm a Civil Engineer by trade.
I have one real baby (27) and four furry babies who I spoil rotten and a very patient hubby hee hee.
I'm so looking forward to working with the DT and the Challenges and also with Sue and Harvey at Imagination Crafts.
Be good xx

Hi, Chris here - a girl who loves to craft - I'm a Freelance Designer/Demonstrator living in the southwest of England. I design and demonstrate crafts for a number of major U.K. retailers, as well as giving Talks to a wide variety of Community Groups, holding private Demo's for retailers and organising my own Workshops in the following: Card-Making, Painting, Silk Fibre Craft, Felting, Jewellery Making - in fact most crafty things that you can think of. As I live near the coast I even craft with shells and driftwood I find on the beach (nothing is safe from my crafty hands). I find inspiration from everything around me, especially nature - leaves, trees and landscapes being a particular favourite of mine.
I design my own stamps, digi-stamps and background papers and have my own website and blog too.
I'm thrilled to be part of the Imagination Crafts Blog Design Team and I look forward to working with all the lovely products and to sharing my ideas with you all.

My name is Lindsay Elise Jolly, I am 31 years old and live on the Norfolk / Suffolk border in East Anglia, United Kingdom with my partner and a very daft cat that thinks he is a baby. I have always loved arts and crafts and during a period of ill health I found art & card making to be very therapeutic. Since then I have become totally hooked on art, card making and altered art and I enjoy using many different mediums and styles in my craft work. One of my favourite things to do in cardmaking and altered art is to use different fabrics and textures and experiment with new things. Blogging has been a wonderful experience and I love the friends that I have made through blogging very much.

My name is Margaret but everyone calls me Mags. I am 49 years young and married and we have two beautiful daughters aged 25 and 21. I currently work full time so most of my evenings and weekends are taken up crafting. I have always been creative and took up card making about four or five years ago. I am totally hooked and wonder what I ever did before cardmaking. I love trying out new ideas and techniques. I am also a little obsessed by sparkle and bling. I am lucky enough to have my own crafty room and a very understanding husband who puts up with my obsession.

Hi my name is Rachel and I'm a stay at home mum to two girls Lucy,6 and Penny, 5. Happily married to Shaun who is a physics professor. I love to craft and have been doing various forms of craft most of my life but papercrafting really took over about 10 years ago and took over with a vengeance about 5 years ago. I love the work of and am influenced by Hels Sheridan and Sheena Douglass and Barbara Gray. I'm increasingly doing mixed media work these days and I love to play and get messy! Outside crafting I'm very busy chairing the PTA at my girls school and running a gardening club there - and also a pack of Rainbows. I also do monthly workshops with some ladies from a church group and occasionally do some for guiders too. Crafting is just the best!

Hi my name is Jennifer, I'm married with two grown-up sons and I have a wonderful Grandson  We all live close to each other, so we see each other most days.    We live in the beauty and tranquility of the high Pennine hills from where I get some of my inspiration for my crafty creations.    I have crafted all my life, trying out many different craft's from cross stitch, making porcelain dolls to Pergamano but the last 30 years have been devoted to card making my, passion.   When I began crafting, there was very little on the market to inspire me unlike now, the craft world is so extensive.
I met Sue and Harvey from Imagination Craft's over 10 years ago.   I was delighted when they asked me to design some sample cards for them.  We became good friends and the rest is history as they say.  I have made cards for Imagination Craft's for many years now and have enjoyed every minute of it.
I just love colour.   My style of card making I would say is classic but I do love to experiment with colours and texture too.  Stamping is my main passion and I like to decoupage my images.   I also love playing with stencils and of course my most favourite new product - Sparkle Medium.   Sue and Harvey allow me lots of artistic freedom, which is great.
I don't usually plan my project,  I use certain products, decide on the colours and just take it from there and let it just evolve.   I also love to use my Grand Calibur and dies, there are so many fabulous dies on the market now.  There is always another one I just must have lol.

The 1st craft project I ever, did, was a Crocheted square, in Peach Wool….my neighbour, showed me how and told me that when I had a square, she would give me 4 balls of peach wool…so I practiced and practiced, and finally the Peach Wool, was mine.  I dabbled in Embroidery (doing some tablecloths and tray mats), then Tapestry, made a gorgeous Winter Scene, which was gifted to my Mum.   When I was carrying Mhairi, I decided to Knit, her some matinee jackets, all my children had some done.
The 1st card I made was for my Grandson Tommy’s 1st day at school, this went down well, so I decided that year to make tags for the Christmas presents…Tommy is now 13, so it was a good day that started my entry into the crafting world.  Being disabled, crafting has kept me sane, and I have made some Wonderful friends, some of whom I have been lucky enough to meet and plan to meet more in 2014.  I am very privileged to be on some amazing design teams, even having some off my work shown on Create and Craft, which is a real buzz.  So I sit in my bedroom with a Sparkly Black Miniature Poodle, Jet, keeping me company all the while.  I hope you have enjoyed a little insight to my love of Crafts.

I have been married for 30 years have 3 wonderful Daughters and 2 gorjuss grandchildren.
I have been crafting for over 20 years I started with some stamps and it went mad from there
lol, I have now fallen in love with mixed media  and shabby chic, Love playing with new things and
finding products and finding new ways to use them, I have been using youtube and love doing tutorials for anyone,
And now I am doing live shows. I Love meeting new crafty friends.

Hi I'm Jan and live with my poor hubby who has to put up with my paper craft addiction!  I have two grown up son's who have given me 5 gorgeous grandchildren.
I have been crafting for most of my life. I have dabbled in a few crafty things but my passion is paper crafting. My Sister bought me a card making kit several years ago and the rest as they say is history!
I'm like most of us I can't resist a pretty piece of paper!
I also love using stamps, masks & mdf!

Hi i'm Cheremane I live on the beautiful coast of North Wales with my wonderful hubby our 3 cute kitty's. I have to two gorgeous grown up daughters and a teenage step son who have all crafted along with me. I adore all different kinds of crafts but card making & stamping have to be my favourite.
I'm also very lucky to be a guest on C&C demoing products for another fabulous craft company.
I look forward to creating & sharing with you some new creations using Imagination Crafts products and hope to inspire you along the way to enter their fabulous challenges.
